Michael Staines and Brian Pemberton met in school in 1996 where a mutual love of music resulted in them forming the band JIVE TERKY. They played with JIVE TERKY for three years before its demise allowed both members to pursue further musical opportunities. Declan Davis and Andrew Scott met through a mutual friend in the music business. The duo jammed together for a long period, the single thought in their minds being to form a band and get playing gigs. The two pair came together in the aftermath of the break up of Jive Terky and soon formed Travega. TRAVEGA are motivated by a intense love for the music they play and undying ambition to be the best there is. TRAVEGA are currently one of the hottest properties on the Irish Music Scene and should definitely be on any serious gig goer's 'one to watch' list for 2005.
